Full Day: 8am to 6pm — This includes morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack.
Half Day: 8am to 12 noon — Morning Session (includes snack).
Half Day: 1pm to 5pm — Afternoon Session (includes snack).
Lunch is served between 11.45 am to 12.30 pm. Morning and afternoon sessions can be extended by 1 hour to include lunch, these will cost £8.50/session.
Additional hours to morning:
- 7am to 8am £5.00/child/day
- 7.15am to 8am £4.00/child/day
- 7.30am to 8am £3.00/child/day
Note: all times between 7am to 8am include breakfast.
Additional hour to afternoon: 5pm to 6pm £5.50
We would always recommend that you view the nursery before making your final decision to place your child with us. If your required sessions are available we will issue you with the Enrolment Form and Consent Form for you to complete with your child’s personal information. If your required days or sessions are unavailable you can elect to place your child on our Waiting List.
Our Waiting List operates on a ‘first come, first served’ basis however priority is given to children who currently have siblings attending Jennyswell Nursery. A deposit of £90 is required to reserve a place at Jennyswell Nursery. This amount will be deducted from your final invoice providing 4 weeks’ notice is given. Upon receipt of the above forms and deposit, we will confirm your nursery place with you, in writing. Please note that if you then decide not to take up your place this deposit is not refundable. You will be invoiced monthly in advance. We accept payment by Cash, Cheque, bank transfers and/or Employers Childcare Vouchers/Government tax free childcare.
You may be able to apply for Tax Credits to help with your childcare costs. To find out if you are eligible contact:

We accept all childcare vouchers/tax free childcare payments/tax credit payments towards fees. The key is it enables you to pay for childcare out of your pre-tax income and the benefit can be great.

1140 hours funding is available towards your child’s pre-school education from Renfrewshire Council. The funding is available to all children after their 3rd birthday and is not means tested.
Funding may also be available for some 2 year olds.
If you wish to use more than the 1140 hours per annum, you are able to purchase wrap around care which is charged at the hourly rate of £4.40/hour.

Should you require extra days/sessions for your child at short notice, perhaps due to illness, bereavement or work commitments, we will make every effort to accommodate your request if there is an available place in your child’s age group. These emergency sessions are charged at the normal nursery rate.
