Welcome to Jennyswell Nursery

Choosing a nursery is an important decision, therefore we hope the following information will answer your questions about our aims and standards of childcare and education to enable you to have complete confidence that you are making the right choice.

Jennyswell Nursery, established in 1995, is a family run nursery in a detached house with great outdoor spaces and modern facilities, located next to a nature reserve. Our mission statement is “Trusted by parents...loved by children” and encompasses our aims to provide quality care and education in a relaxed, caring environment by experienced nursery staff whilst working closely with parents and carers.

Jennyswell Nursery is registered with the Care Inspectorate to provide childcare for 64 children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years. During their time with us, we aim to nurture and develop each individual child, encouraging confidence in their own abilities, paving the way ahead for successful and happy school days. Jennyswell Nursery is opened from 7am to 6pm.

We are in partnership with Renfrewshire Council and offer local authority commissioned places for 2-5 year olds.

We are quietly situated on Jennyswell Road, only minutes away from Paisley town centre, across from the Hawkhead village. We would love for you to come and visit us so please feel free to drop in at any time or contact us to make an appointment.

We have also been operating an out of school service for the last 18 years with currently providing breakfast club and after school for children of Todholm Primary, Lochfield Primary and St Charles Primary. We also run play schemes over Summer, Easter and the October week for children of school age. Please see our Out Of School section for more details.
